Today, I’m sharing two ways to style a shirtdress. At first, I wasn’t sure if I could style this dress in multiple ways. But after experimenting, I’m sure that I could style it more, but you’re only getting two today.
I got this shirtdress because I thought it would be light for summer, but also could be worn with layers for the fall and winter. When I buy clothing, I’m always on the lookout for versatility these days.
Two Ways to Style a Shirtdress
Style 1
This first style is more sophisticated yet versatile. It can be worn in the office or to lunch with the ladies. Don’t you love that?! I know I’m a fan. I’m wearing knee-high boots (a pair that I’ve owned for two years), a bright scarf strategically tied around my neck, and gold jewelry. And of course, I have a cute little bag.

Style 2
This second style is more of a casual look, but could also be worn to work or on the weekend. To give the shirtdress another shape/fit, I’m adding a belt around the waist. I’m wearing espadrille wedges, but if this were a colder season, I would wear booties or pumps. For accessories, I have a headscarf, gold earrings, and a fun casual tote bag.

- Long cardigan
- Leather jacket
- Overcoat / Trench coat
Closing Statement
Each of the items that I’m styling with this shirtdress are pieces that I already have in my closet. I love being more creative with the items in my closet. If you have any questions or would like to see more styles, please leave a comment.
