Leather pieces are trending for fall, so I’m sharing a few ways to style a faux leather skirt. I’m trying to stay minimalistic in my fall wardrobe, so you will start seeing me wear more pieces in different ways.
Since I wanted to get a head start on my fall wardrobe, I bought this cute tan mini skirt from H&M for only $20. Now I’m trying to be more budget-conscious with my fall wardrobe, so this skirt has to cover a couple of purchase criteria.
First, the leather skirt needed to be versatile so that I can wear it multiple times in different ways. Second, the skirt had to be able to be worn with items that I already had in my closet. This skirt hit both items on my list.
Style 1 ~
In this styling of the leather skirt, I’m wearing a more business casual style. Even though it’s a mini, I’m not shying away from dressing more professional. I’m wearing this skirt with a classic white button-up (also style here), a classic taupe pump, and a structured bag.
Style 2 ~
One of my favorite things to wear is a graphic tee (see My 6 Wardrobe Staples). So naturally, I’m going to pair this skirt with my tiger tee (sold out). Even though this shirt is a graphic tee, I love the neutral tone. It also pairs well with this leather skirt. Add a long cardigan, a hat, and boots and boom, you have a great casual look.
Style 3 ~
I couldn’t NOT pair this fall skirt with a turtle neck sweater. This sweater has been in my closet for about 2 years now, and it never lets me down. I added a structured bag (also trending for fall) and my classic tall boots.
Closing Statements
Be prepared to see more of these posts on my blog. It’s essential to purchase pieces that you can wear in various looks. Otherwise, you’re paying for clothes that you wear once. So tell me, how would you style this faux leather skirt? Which one of my looks was your favorite?
