The first thing I thought when I purchased my red boots was, “these are so freakin cute.” And the second thought was, “what am I going to wear with these boots?”
I’m starting a new practice for new purchases. I want to be able to style them in at least 3-5 different ways; otherwise, I will not purchase the item. By doing this, it ensures that I will NOT be wearing single wear items. So, when I bought the red boots, I did just that.
Style 1: LBD
Since black pieces are standard in my wardrobe, it was essential to be able to pair the red boots with something black. So, of course, I chose an LBD. Although you could wear any LBD, I decided on a mod-style dress from Zara. When adding a dark burgundy beret and the boots, it gives a very 60s era vibe.
Style 2: Office
Most days, I’m in the office, so I wanted to find a way to wear my red boots in a work environment. Although this look is relatively casual with the denim skirt. When adding the turtleneck and blazer, it instantly adds an “all business” aspect. It sounds kind of like a mullet…business on top and party on the bottom.
Style 3: Neutrals
Last but not least, I had to create a way to wear these boots with neutrals. My closet has become mostly neutrals, so it was key that I had to find a look that works with this color scheme. In this outfit, I add a beret (love my berets), a cream sweater, and a beige jersey skirt. You can wear this outfit to work, shopping, or dinner.
Closing Statements
Although I’m only sharing 3 ways to style these red boots, I plan on finding way more ways to wear them. Overall, I’m loving these boots and couldn’t be happier with how I styled them. Red boots are obviously my jam, check out these posts to see more style inspo (here, here, and here). However, I would love to hear how you style them. Please leave a comment and let me know.
