I recently found the perfect white denim midi skirt while thrifting. It was new with tags (NWT) and in excellent condition. I almost didn’t get the skirt because it was a size 2, and in that brand (Zara), I wear a size 4. But I took a chance, and it fit perfectly. I assume that this skirt was created before a size revision at Zara.
One of my rules when buying something new (thrifted or new) is that I must be able to style my new piece in at least 3 different looks by using clothing and accessories that I already have in my closet. Why? First, it helps me keep a cohesive wardrobe. And one that I can get more out of by mixing and matching. Second, it will help assure me that this piece matches my personal style, which is extremely important.
However, this denim midi skirt is so incredible; I came up with 4 ways to style it. I probably could have come up with so many more because it’s so versatile, but I settled on four. Although, I’m sure you’ll see it in some of my Weekday Wardrobe looks and on my Instagram from time to time.
