One of my all time favorite wardrobe staples is the graphic tee. I just find the graphic tee, so fun to work with when creating my outfits. This style of t-shirt is versatile, and you can wear it in so many ways to design different looks. When I am shopping, I am always drawn to graphic tees regardless if it’s in a store or online. They always add a bit of flare to what I wear.
My job is pretty casual, but I prefer to dress up more than most. For example, one way I wear graphic tees for work is to pair it with jeans, a tailored blazer, and a pair of heels. I also pair this type of top with a pencil skirt or pants and a matching blazer. In a more casual setting, graphic tees pairs with almost anything from shorts, jeans, or skirts. I’ve even worn graphic t-shirts for more formal attire. In this case, I will do this by pairing the tops with sequins, tulle, satin, and faux leather skirts.
I found this 80’s style graphic tee at Forever 21, which is a great place to find all types of t-shirts for a great price. This top caught my eye because of the retro vibe and the “boys” graphic across the front. This t-shirt feels like a top that someone would wear in my favorite 80’s cult classic movies.
For today’s post, I went for a mix of 80’s and Spring. The skirt that I am wearing is a distressed denim pencil skirt, which paired nicely with the top. I chose a simple pair of nude heels which in effect acted as a nice neutral and kept with the 80’s look. For my handbag, I went with this amazing straw tote bag which brings a bit of Spring style into the mix. To top off the look, I am wearing a very electric shade of pink lipstick.
I’m sure this will not be the last post about graphic tees on my blog. For those of you who follow me on Instagram and Facebook, you know that I am always posting my tees online. How about you all, do you like graphic t-shirts?
