Do you have your floral dress yet? Floral dresses are everywhere right now. It was the topic of my latest trend report and was in my top ten must-haves for spring. Now, as I’ve mentioned before floral prints aren’t always my jam. I’m not into the heavy romantic styles. Don’t get me wrong, they look great on others, but I haven’t found too many that I’ve liked.
However, now and then I find a style or print that I enjoy. This year I bought several floral dresses, but I’ve only kept a few. This dress from Nasty Gal instantly caught myย eye while shopping online. The floral print has a vintage vibe, which I have a tendency to gravitate too. I thought the shirt dress style was easy to wear in a few different ways as well.
Look 1
In my first look, I went for more of a casual look. I paired the shirt dress with a pair of flared pants. I have a cognac belt from Expressย in order to emphasize my waist. However, I also like it without the belt as well, it’s more free-flowing.

For my second look, I went for a more dressy style. I’m wearing the dress by itself and pairing it with gold accessories. The vintage vibe gave this dress a very 70’s look, so I chose to go with gold. This is more of a nighttime and cocktail hour look. If you wanted a day look, a long cardigan and wedges would have been cute as well.
What’s nice about a versatile floral dress is the fact that you can get more than one outfit out of it. This way you can save money and look good. Are you buying a floral dress this year?
