Since I’ve been MIA for a while, I thought I would share a Boston weekend vlog. I’m still exploring the city and identifying my favorite spots. So follow along (via video) as I share a typical weekend with you in my new city.
My Weekend Vlog
Friday (evening)
In this weekend vlog, you join me on Friday evening. I have finished my work day, and I’m getting ready for my evening. Johnny and I will be going to the North End to eat dinner at an Italian restaurant, Trattoria Il Panino. Now, I’m not a huge pasta fan, but this Place did not disappoint.
I’m wearing a white slip dress with a red floral robe. Since the streets are so old in the North End of Boston, I had to wear something with a chunky heel. So I opted for a pair of tan suede boots (same as here).
Saturday
As you can see, I got up exceptionally early. We have brunch plans, but I have a ton of errands to run prior. I start my morning by walking Han Solo (my adorable Frenchie) followed by a 3-mile run. Then I walk to the North End to drop off a Poshmark order, stroll through the farmers market, and grab some iced teas.
Johnny and I go to brunch at Cafe Bonjour. This place is a FAVORITE of ours. We walk from our place to downtown. Although there’s usually a 30-minute wait, it’s worth it. The food and drinks are FANTASTIC.
For Brunch, I’m wearing a denim jumpsuit, fun wedges that I thrifted from ThredUp, a tote, and a scarf.
We had some downtime in the afternoon, so we were able to relax and digest our food. For dinner, we made a charcuterie board, which was so good. After dinner, we go meet our neighbors for some wine on the rooftop.
For wine on the rooftop, I’m wearing a white tank, a sweater that I thrifted from ThredUp, jeans, and my go-to espadrilles.
Sunday
Sunday is my productive day. It happens to be a bit of a gloomy day as well, so staying in was easy. I make breakfast in the morning, write a blog article (here), and work on a sewing project.
I keep my outfit casual and comfortable. I’m wearing a bra top, a lilac shirt, and leggings. This is an outfit repeat (seen here).
I hope you enjoyed this weekend vlog and me exploring a bit of Boston. If you have any favorite places in Boston, let me know in the comments!
