It’s that time of year again to talk Fall & Winter 2021 Fashion Trends! We’re always so excited to share our research on the upcoming trends. Some are new, some have been around, and some may or may not stick. You never know, but that’s what makes fashion trends so intoxicating.
Our disclaimer with trends: We at TR&C believe that you should not chase or follow trends. You should always be wearing what you love regardless of trends. However, we share these upcoming trends because we love fashion, and trends can be inspiring and tell a story. Ok, now that’s said, on with the Fall & Winter 2021 fashion trends.
Fall & Winter 2021 Fashion Trends
All Over Knits & Sweater Vests
Just like denim, all-over knits are here. From sets to dresses to intimates, knits are coming in all shapes and sizes. Speaking of knits, if you hopped on the sweater vest trend last year, you are in luck. Sweater vests are back this Fall & Winter.
Saturated Colors & Lilac
Saturated colors (bold & bright) are here to stay. After a year of lockdown (2020), we embraced color in SS 2021, and this AW season is no different. In addition, lilac is coming in hot this season as well. This particular shade will have staying power into the following Spring & Summer.
Cut-Outs
The cut-out trend started becoming popular in spring/summer 2021, and it’s not going anywhere. We’re seeing tops, dresses, and bottoms with cut-out details.
Raw & All Over Denim
Did someone say denim? Well, if you got it, wear it because the Canadian tuxedo is here this fall. Although for us, this is a wardrobe staple (here, here, & here). In addition to all-over denim, raw & dark denim is starting to show up.
Fringe & Sequins
And we saved the party for last. Yes, if you want to get a little more fun with your style, add fringe and sequins this upcoming season. We’re seeing both embellishments in clothing and accessories.
In Closing…
