If you couldn’t tell, I love my faux fur jackets. There is something so classic and glamorous about the furry coats. When I was younger, I would watch a lot of old movies. The leading ladies were always so glamorous and wore their fur jackets. So when the “faux” fur started making a comeback, I was all in.
My search for faux fur jackets started about three years ago, which was nearly a year before they started becoming popular. I found a few leopard print jackets, but it was few and far between. A couple of years ago, I finally found my first fur jacket. To be fair, I bought a few but had to return them due to sizing issues. It was a leopard print jacket, which still holds up today.
One of my favorite things about faux fur is that you can wear it casually or dressy. The majority of people will wear their furs when dressing up, but I often wear mine with jeans and a t-shirt. If you are following my Instagram (and if you aren’t you totally should *wink), then you’ve seen several ways that I style my fur coats.
Since my first faux fur, I’ve bought several more. I might, in fact, be addicted (teasing….kind of). My friends will raid my furs when they want to glam up their outfit. The beauty of the faux fur is that you don’t have to spend a ton of money on a single jacket. You can buy them at all kinds of price points. I’ve listed a few that are my current favorites, and the best part is that they are affordable.
If you don’t have a faux fur in your wardrobe, I highly recommend you getting one. Not only is it incredibly warm, but it’s so much fun to wear. However, please do not wear this type of jacket in the rain. Do you wear faux fur? Leave a comment, let me know your thoughts.
