As much as I love to shop, I also understand that it’s important to save money. But hey, I know that you can have both, but you just have to know where to look.
In this article, I’m going to share four ways to get a new wardrobe and still save money.
How To Save Money On A New Wardrobe
Shop Your Closet
First, my recommendation is to shop your closet. I guarantee that it’s a sure way to save money. You would be surprised about how many clothes that you find that you’ve never worn or pieces that you can bring back to life. Check out my post on shopping your closet >>here<<.
Buy Thrifted And Consignment
Recently I’ve discovered a way to save money while shopping is through thrifting or consignment shopping. It’s a great way to find slightly used luxury brands or brand new pieces that are in excellent condition. Generally, the prices are significantly lower than if you were to buy new. Check out my article >>here<<.
Look For Sales
There are so many sales going on all the time. I kid you not, there are stores where I never shop full price because they always have sales. If you shop at a few stores, find out when they typically have their annual sales and mark your calendar. There are also websites and browser extensions that help with finding discount codes. For more on that check out this article >>here<<.
Build A Capsule Wardrobe
A great way to save money on a wardrobe is to create a capsule wardrobe. A capsule wardrobe is about buying a few key pieces in order to mix and match so that you can create multiple outfits. Generally, these pieces are basic and can be worn interchangeably for several seasons.
Closing Statements
Shopping doesn’t always mean spending a bunch of money on a new wardrobe. Hopefully, some of these tips allow you to be still able to shop but in a more budget-conscious way.

I love all your tips! I tend to go the route of secondhand shopping because I love the thrill of finding a gorgeous piece for super cheap!
