Overalls are something that I’ve wanted to style for a year now. I finally found a pair that fit me perfectly, which took some time. I previously bought two pairs that didn’t quite fit. Both pairs fit a bit too tight, which didn’t give me the look that I wanted. It’s essential that the overalls you keep have the fit that you want.
The reason why you want your overalls to have a great fit is that they’re not always the easiest to style. It’s, for this reason, I’m so excited to style them. It’s too easy to look like a farmer or straight up frumpy. You know what I’m talking about!
My Favorite Overalls
Now dressing like a farmer isn’t so bad if you’re a farmer or a country gal, but that’s not my jam. So when styling my overalls, I want to give more of a city gal spin on it. I call this look “farmer chic.” I chose to wear a more tight fitting top since the overalls were fairly loose. Although, I do think a cute button up would work as well. Of course, I’m wearing heels to add that extra length to my legs.
To finalize my look, I add cute accessories such as this headband and a large tote. In my opinion, besides shoes, of course, your accessories can enhance your look. Especially if you’re trying to class up a pair of overalls. I’m also digging the overall shorts that I see everywhere. The question is…should I get a pair? Now tell me, how do you style your overalls? Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know.
