I’m always interested in mocktails, so that’s why when I saw Seedlip’s non-alcoholic spirits, I decided to give it a try. When I stopped drinking alcohol last year (see article here), it was still nice to have something fun to drink. Maybe it’s a social thing, or you want to drink something other than water, but mocktails are a great non-alcoholic option.
I first saw Seedlip in an article from The Good Trade talking about non-alcoholic drinks and elixirs. Again, although I drink now on occasion, I still like to dabble in mocktails. Honestly, I had no idea there were so many options. So I decided to give Seedlip a try mostly because I loved the labels.
Seedlip Garden 108
Seedlip comes in three flavors (Garden 108, Spice 94, Grove 42). Without knowing what it tasted like, I went for the Seedlip Garden 108 flavor. When you first open the bottle, you discover why it gets its name. It smells and tastes like a vegetable garden (peas to be exact). Not in a bad way, but different from anything that I’ve had in the past.
Mocktail Recipes
The great thing about their website is that they offer several different “cocktails” or “mocktails” to make with your flavor of choice. The best thing is that they all appear relatively simple to make, so no bartending experience is required.
Garden & Ginger Ale
- 2 oz Seedlip Garden 108
- Ice
- Ginger Ale
- Rosemary
I enjoyed this recipe. It was so simple, and I always have ginger ale on hand. The ginger ale flavor mixed well with the taste of the Garden 108. I will be making this recipe again.
Rosemary Booch
- 1 1/2 oz Seedlip Garden 108
- Ice
- Kombucha
- Rosemary
I couldn’t find a plain Kombucha for this recipe, so I decided to use a berry flavor. That particular flavor gave it an overall pink look, which for aesthetic reasons, I love. I’ll be honest, though, this wasn’t my favorite recipe. However, it might have to do more with not liking the Kombucha rather than the drink itself.
Closing Statement
Overall, I would recommend Seedlip Garden 108 for the person who likes the flavor of peas, as I don’t think it’s for everyone. I’m looking forward to making my own recipes for mocktails with the Garden 108, so if they’re any good, I will be sharing. I will be trying the other flavors, Spice 94 and Grove 42, to compare and see which I prefer.
If you’ve tried this non-alcoholic spirit or have any recipe ideas, please leave me a comment, and I will give those a try. So cheers for now, and I will be sharing more recipes and reviews soon.

I love it! I’m posting an article tomorrow on using Seedlip’s Grove 42 to make their CosNOpolitan. I’ll have to try it with jalapenos and lemonade; that sounds incredible.
