I want to share a different side of my style, which is my casual look. I usually like to dress up whether it’s going to work, a day event on the weekend, or going out at night. However, there are so many occasions when I wear a more casual look.
These events generally consist of running errands, hanging around my house, or just wanting to go for more of a casual style. I, for the most part, wear a casual look on the weekend. During the week, I’m at work and go to the gym, so by the time I get home; it’s straight to stretchy pants and my athleisure wear. I prefer to run errands dressed in a more casual look since I’m usually trying to get the errands done as soon as possible.
Generally, I will wear a casual look for certain events such as football or baseball games and any occasion where I’m going to be slightly physically active. I will even wear a more casual look to the movies from time to time. I just go with the look that feels right.
For this look, I’m wearing a “baseball” t-shirt in a black and white. I love these shirts as they go with so many outfits. Cut-off denim shorts are a staple in my closet for spring/summer casual wear. The shorts can be dressed up or down, depending on your outfit and accessories. The Adidas sports sandals that I’m wearing are so comfortable. These shoes were popular when I was younger, so it’s fun seeing them back in the fashion mix. I will pair these shoes with skirts as well. As mentioned in my “What I’m Loving Lately – July” article, I’m wearing my tote which has been my staple this summer.
Since I live in California, my fall will look like summer. So I can wear this look and similar looks like it well into the fall season. Below, I’m sharing some of my other favorite casual styles. Do you have a favorite casual look?
