I know what your thinking, it’s too early to be thinking about a spring wishlist. It’s still cold and snowy outside. Well, I’m in California, and we’ve had temps anywhere from 65 to 85 degrees. This weather calls for me to get my spring shopping into high gear.
So what does spring fashion usually mean? Each year is different with trends in patterns and styles of clothes, but it usually has the same theme overall. Pastels, bold brighter colors, whites, and neutrals. More of the flowy, sheer, and satin fabrics will start making their appearance in spring fashion, which are usually in dresses and tops. The combination of patterns, geometric, tribal, and florals are always prevalent in spring style. Jackets go from heavy coats to a more lightweight version.
Spring Wishlist
Layering is essential in spring fashion since the weather can go from cold to warm within a day. The lightweight jacket is perfect for layering. I’ve even started seeing the layering of several jackets such as denim and wool, denim and blazers, and the denim and leather combination, basically denim is an excellent layering piece. If you’re not ready to give up on your sweaters just yet, they are ideal for layers as well. This way you can start wearing those cute spring dresses while still staying warm.
