I use self-tanning products to get that sun-kissed look all year round. So I need to find quality products that smell and look good. The last thing I want is to smell like tanner and look orange.
I’ve tried several tanners in the past (check out my article >>here<<), which I loved, but lately, my search has been for cleaner self-tanning products. What I put on my body is just as important as what I put into my body.
There are 3 products that I’ve been trying for the past year, and I’m in love with them.
Coola Sunless Tan Dry Oil Mist
One of my top 3 favorite self-tanning products is Coola’s Sunless Tan Dry Oil Mist. I believe you’re supposed to spray this product directly on your skin, but I still use a tanning mitt. This product checks all of my sunless tanner boxes.
- Vegan, organic, and contains mostly natural ingredients.
- It smells good, not like most tanning products.
- The color is subtle and gives you a bronze without any orange.
Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Water
Another favorite of mine is the Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Water. I usually go for the medium (green) even though my skin is relatively light, only because I love a darker glow. They’ve also come out with a refill product so that it helps save on the environment.
- Vegan & cruelty-free
- Clean and contains some certified organic ingredients
- Color correcting to give a more natural tan (no orange)
- It smells incredible, which is refreshing
Isle of Paradise Self-Tanner Drops
The product that I use for my face regularly is the Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Drops. In this product, I use the light (peach) color. I mix it in with my moisturizer in the mornings, so give me a more natural, yet subtle glow.
- Light smell so it’s not overpowering
- Vegan & cruelty-free
- It allows you to go lighter or darker, depending on the amount used.
Closing Statement
As I get older, my skin shows a lot more sun damage. These days I’m continually applying the SPF (find out my favorites >>here<<). So instead, I use these tanners that give me a lovely glow all year round.
