With a new year comes new and continuing style trends. We’ve rounded up some of the top trends for this upcoming year. As with any trends, we encourage you to use them as inspiration but not to chase them. Always wear things that align with your lifestyle and personal style.
Style Trends used to last 1-5 years, but social media has been saturating trends in the past few years, giving them a shorter shelf life. So always be mindful and selective with your trends.
Y2K
Y2K is still going strong in 2022. In particular, low-rise, butterflies, tiny cardigans, and baby t-shirts.
The Mini Skirt
The mini skirt is trending, but it’s always been in style in our eyes. Wear what works best for you, from micro-minis to regular minis, high-rise to low-rise.
Shiny
Metallics, sequins, and sparkle are tres chic. In addition to the traditional gold and silver, colorful shiny pieces are the way to go.
The Catsuit
The full-body catsuit is hot right now. If you want to break it up, try pairing it with a belt or under a blazer.
Head To Toe Denim
Head-to-toe denim is always a great option. Another style that we’ve been wearing for years (see here), but we’re happy it’s getting more attention.
Fringe
From western-inspired to flapper 1920s, fringe is back in a big way.
Bra Tops & Corsets
Bra tops and corsets are not for everyone, but oh so stylish. You can wear them on their own or over another shirt.
Bright Bold Colors
We started introducing bold bright colors in 2021, but they are still going strong. If you want to dip your toes into colorful pieces, incorporate them with your accessories.
Platforms
Platforms are back, and they are beautiful. If you’ve been watching And Just Like That, then you’ve noticed the many many platforms that the ladies are wearing.
Crochet
Crochet is still going strong this upcoming year. From tops to accessories, you can’t go wrong with crochet.
