In a world of constant movement and a “go, go, go” attitude, I often find myself saying “It’s ok to take a break.” Now as a working girl with a full-time job and a blog that I’m trying to get off the ground, this is not an easy task. When I have any spare time, I get excited thinking about all the things I can accomplish in that open timeslot. Sounds insane, right?!
As you can believe, moving at this pace can cause burn out incredibly quickly. That’s why I take a break now and then. A break often looks like taking a morning, evening, or a full day off. Even this morning, my brain was thinking about my day job, my blog, my morning run, as well as a million other things that I had to get done. It was at that moment that I had to tell myself to stop and relax. I had to convince myself that it was alright to take a break. It’s the healthy thing to do. So that’s what I did.
Sometimes the best thing for you is to give yourself time. Your body and mind know what to do and when to do it, so listen from time to time.
relmstyle updates
In other news, I wanted to share a bit about what has been going on with relmstyle lately. I’m trying to do a bit of a rebrand. I want to change the look and feel as well as the content. I want to add more lifestyle and beauty content. My goal is to have it ready by the beginning of next year. Since I don’t have the time to do it in one massive swoop, you will start to see it trickle in little by little. Let me know if there’s something that you would like to see come from relmstyle in the future.
