The 4 Must-Have Prints for Fall

I’ve done my research, and there are some distinctive must-have prints for fall this year. If you haven’t noticed these print trends on your Instagram feed or in your favorite magazines, you will soon. Let me tell you; I love them all. So without further ado, we shall begin.

Must-Have Fall Prints

1. Animal

It’s time to go wild this fall. Well if you don’t, your wardrobe will. It’s no surprise that animal print is in full effect this season. I’m talking leopard (check out my latest Trend Report for the latest on leopard print), zebra, and tiger print. This print is in all forms of fashion but if you’re not ready to go all in, try a belt or a bag to ease your way into this trend.

2. Dark Florals

Even though summer’s over, it doesn’t mean you have to give up on floral. In fact, dark floral is making a significant impact in fall. This print is perfect for a dress (can you say transition piece), tops, and bags. So if floral is your jam, you can rest easy that it’s hot for all.

3. Plaid

Plaid is by far my favorite fall print. It usually makes a comeback each fall but with a distinct flair. This year is no different. I’m noticing a couple of specific patterns (pun totally intended). The plaid this year has a very 90’s vibe (hello Clueless) as well as a tailored (menswear-inspired) look. Plaid suits are coming in hot. I don’t know about you, but I’m very excited about the tartan pieces this season.

4. Scarf

The scarf print has slowly started to make its way back into fashion. I noticed a few pieces here and there last year, but this year, it’s everywhere. This pattern is that of a scarf but built as a garment. This silky/satiny fabric is chic and looks amazing as a dress or top.
