As soon as I saw this fringe jacket, I fell in love. I sent a link out to everyone I know, telling them how in love I was with this jacket. My friends are accustomed to me professing my love about an article of clothes or a pair of shoes, rolled their eyes and share “great” or “nice.” This jacket was pricey but affordable, but not something I “needed” in my wardrobe. Long story short, I eyed this fringe jacket for about a day, and with too much wine one night, I bought the jacket. What can I say, it was love at first sight.
There are so many ways to wear this fringe jacket. During the hot summer, it is perfect for the colder nights with a cute tank and a pair of distressed denim shorts. A floral dress or a solid bodycon dress will also pair nicely with this jacket. Now that it’s fall, I’m able to wear t-shirts and jeans with this jacket. Since it’s still pretty warm outside, dresses and booties are also an option with this jacket.
For this post, I’m going for more of a vintage look as I like to do (check out my post 70’s vintage look). One of my favorite style of denim is high-waist flares. I loved these jeans paired with this fringe jacket. For my top, I also chose a graphic tank (Pink Floyd to keep the vintage vibe) in a light pink. I love the soft pink paired with the neutral tone of the jacket.
When wearing fringe, you want to make it the focal point of your outfit. It’s so bold and noticeable; it’s best to wear complimentary items that don’t compete with the fringe. I mean come on, with a fringe jacket like this, it’s the star of the show.
I can’t wait to start sharing other ways to wear this fringe jacket with all of you. Keep an eye out on my Facebook and Instagram accounts for my outfits of the day (#ootd). I would love to hear some of your ideas on how to wear this fringe jacket? Please leave a comment with your thoughts.
