The white button-up is a shirt that will never go out of style. There are always variations of this style every season, but the classic button-up always remains. Over the years, I’ve always kept at least one in my closet. It’s the one consistent piece that you can wear all year around.
This simple shirt, when paired with so many different pieces, can create several unique looks. When tucked into a black pencil skirt and combined with black heels, it’s perfect for the office. One of my favorite looks is wearing the button-up untucked with a pair of flares, a felt hat, and heels. The possibilities are endless.
In addition to wearing with different pieces to create new looks, this shirt can be worn in several ways. In this post, I’m wearing it tied in a knot (one of my personal favorites). However, wearing it untucked or completely tucked are chic options. I’ve seen variations of all of those options as well.
If you don’t have a classic white button-up in your closet, it’s time that you get one. I’ve found a few that are versatile and won’t break the bank.
