It’s finally getting sunny outside, so the swim season is top of mind right now. Every year I tell myself that I’m going to wear my swim pieces from last year, but every year I fall in love with new items. In this article, I’m going to share the latest trends in swimwear to inspire you and get you ready for the upcoming warm days.

Swim Trends
Florals
Florals in swimwear are hot, hot, hot right now. I generally go for basic swim pieces, but this year I’m getting on the floral suit trend.
Gingham, Stripes, & Tie-Dye
Prints such as gingham, stripes, and tie-dye are everywhere in swimwear. What’s great about these prints is that they’re going to be trending for years. This means that they will re-wearable for the next swimsuit season.
The 90s
The 90s trend started coming into fashion last year but has finally hit full force. These pieces are trend pieces so that they might be re-wearable next year, but not for multiple years. However, they are so fun.
Bold & Bright
Spring and summer are about bold colors. So it’s natural that this would come through in your swimwear as well.
Animal
If you bought animal print swimwear last year, you’re good to go. Why? Because it’s still on trend! If you didn’t get this ferocious print (such a lame pun, I know), there are so many cute pieces out there.

Closing Statement
So many cute pieces! Even if you’re unable to go to a pool or a beach, you can wear these swimwear pieces in your backyard. If you notice, several of these trends interchange as well. What are you wearing in swimwear this year? Let me know in the comments.
