This weekday wardrobe is brought to you by the world of inconsistent weather. In Central California, the weather has gone from hot to cold a matter of days.
Monday
So to start the week off, the weather hit the high 90s, and with no AC, this means that I have to wear something effortless, breathable, and light. This jersey tank maxi dress was perfect. It’s too hot to leave the house, so I put on house slippers and voila, a super comfortable outfit.

Tuesday
Tuesday is another hot day, but also a day full of errands. I’m opting in for bike shorts, a graphic t-shirt, and some casual slides.

Wednesday
When the day started, it was extremely chilly. However, by the afternoon, the sun was shining and the temps hit in the high 70s. I’m wearing one of my favorite Blondie tank and a cute pair of paper-bag shorts. I recently found these cheetah print espadrilles in my closet, so I decided to wear them.

Thursday
And enter the colder days because the morning and most of the day was a bit chilly. I’m wearing a basic tank with my new favorite pair of skater jeans. I added the cardigan to combat the chill and, of course, accessorized with gold jewelry. I’m also wearing the same shoes from Wednesday (duh because they’re cute). I felt very late 1990s/ early 2000s in this outfit.

Friday
For the past few weeks, I’ve been dressing up on Fridays. So I’m wearing a cute shirt dress with a cute pair of straw platforms. And, to accessorize, I’m wearing gold jewelry.

Closing Statement
At the beginning of the month, I decided to go on a “Fashion Fast” to become more sustainable with my wardrobe. That means that I will not be buying any more clothes this month and only using what I currently have in my closet. I’m hoping to find more pieces that I haven’t worn and re-wear some of my favorites.
I did this same fast last year (see here), but I’m hoping for more sustainable results.
