This week’s Weekday Wardrobe is a perfect example of summer still going strong in Southern California. The temperature was in the mid to high 80s all week. Although I want to my Fall wardrobe on, it was just too hot.
Monday
I’ve been waiting to wear this white denim romper for months now, but this Monday was the day. I don’t know what it was, but I was vibing with it today. To help with my hair (still going out my hair), I’m wearing a bandana as an accessory. Of course, I’m wearing very subtle gold jewelry and a pair of espadrille wedges.

Tuesday
Since I can’t wear large chunky knits, I’m settling for a sweater vest. Since it’s still hot, I’m wearing cut off denim shorts and espadrille wedges. As per my usual, I have gold hoops to accessorize.

Wednesday
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, a classic white button-up is a closet staple (see here). This shirt is on repeat in my weekday wardrobe outfits. This Wednesday is no different. My shirt is tied in a front knot over a cami. I’m wearing a denim skirt (which I also wore last week here) and a pair of espadrille wedges. I just got this headband to help with the short to long hair transition, and I love it.

Thursday
I’m a little more business casual this Thursday. Similar to yesterday, I’m wearing a white button-up shirt, although this one has short sleeves. I have flowy black pants for stylish comfort, a pair of wedges, and another great headband.

Friday

Closing Statement
Although we’re heading into Fall next week, the weather will most likely be in the high temperatures in SoCal next week. I’m hoping for it to start cooling down soon, so I can break out my jeans and cozy sweaters.
