You should have multiple styles of jeans in your wardrobe. This past year, many millennials gave up on their skinny jeans, or they’re hanging onto them for dear life. You’re potential on either side of the extreme. However, there is a happy middle by adding variety to your denim wardrobe.
Now, stay with us for a minute (or at least until the end of this article). Having variety with your styles of jeans will ultimately make you happier with your wardrobe. Think about it; you wouldn’t eat the same foods or wear the same shirt (unless you’re Steve Jobs) every day. So why would you only wear one style of jeans?
By adding 1-2 different styles of denim in your wardrobe, you’ll elevate your style and make you feel better about your wardrobe overall. So, which types of jeans should you be adding to your weekly rotation. Here are some of our favorite styles.
Your Next Pair of Jeans
Straight Leg Jeans
The straight-leg jean is a classic style and sure to add an element of sophistication to any wardrobe.
Wide-Leg & Flare Jeans
Wide-leg and flared jeans are always a fun option to add to your weekly outfit mix.
Bootcut Jeans
In classic Y2K fashion, bootcut jeans are back. Pair this pair of jeans with a strappy heel and a cropped cardigan, and you’re set.
90’s Baggy Jeans
The 90’s baggy jeans are back. Pair them with a tiny tank and a pair of retro sneakers.
Balloon Jeans
Balloon jeans are a bit on the trendy side and a bit more aggressive. So if you’re starting to explore multiple styles of jeans, you should probably pass on this style.
In Closing
A good pair of jeans can make you feel incredible and confident. You should always choose a style that fits your body and personal style; otherwise, you’ll never wear them. If you’re trying to find a new style, always try on several silhouettes before buying them. That way, you’ll find the pair that’s right for you.
