We’re sharing the must-have shoes for fall and winter! As all of your sandals make their way back into their boxes and you start unpacking your shoes that are more weather appropriate for the colder season, you want to take inventory. Each fall and winter season, we assess your shoes to see any gaps (see how to evaluate wardrobe gaps here) or if any of them have seen their last repair.
It may be time for some new shoes depending on the results of your shoe investigation. You want to think quality over quantity when it comes to shoes, especially fall and winter shoes. If you think about it, your shoes get the most wear and tear each time they are worn. So you want to invest in something that lasts. Now, that quality may be different for everyone, depending on what they can fit into their budget.
So we put together a list of must-have shoes for fall and winter at several price points, just in case you’re in the market for some new footwear.

The Loafer
The loafer is always a classic that will be on-trend FOREVER! What’s incredible about this shoe is that there are so many variations of it; you can always find one perfect for your style.
The Knee-High Boots
The knee-high boot is another classic. Whether you pair it with a mini or midi skirt or over a pair of jeans, this boot will add so much variety to your wardrobe.
The Clog
The clog brings more of a retro vibe from the 70s and 90s but is more modern. This shoe is so easy to wear and style, you’ll want to wear it daily.

You can’t go wrong with a Chelsea boot. It’s another shoe that comes in so many variations; you’ll be sure to find one that fits your wardrobe.
The Combat Boot
The combat boot, once reserved for punk rock, is now mainstream and a perfect closet staple. For a twist, try it with a chunky heel or a fun color.
